50 Years of Bohemian Rhapsody

In November 2025, Guildhall held a concert in celebration for the 50th anniversary of Queen's A Night at the Opera, with the concert taking place exactly 50 years to the day. A dozen or so students were tasked with orchestrating some of Queen's biggest hits including Killer Queen, Another One Bites the Dust, We Will Rock You, and more. I was asked to orchestrate the first section of Bohemian Rhapsody, the 'ballad section' as well as write a short standalone piece using the themes present in that portion of the song. This standalone piece opened the concert and was received very warmly. I am very proud of this piece.
